The property
Villa Glitre is a historical and architecturally exceptional villa situated on the island Gåsøya, in Bærum. Built in 1918, it combines classic elegance with quiet luxury and all the modern comfort you need.
This unique property consists of 2 plots of land in addition to 2 smaller parcels located at the waterfront on the east side of the island. The main plot is approximately 14.000 sqm, with an adjacent plot of approximately 5000 sqm (buildable of another house of approximately max 200 sqm).
The property has its main mooring space on the west side of the island, constructed for 2 boats of 30 feet. In addition there is a deep water mooring for any size boat, located just about 100 feet from the beach front. The pool at Villa Glitre is a unique piece of art designed by Norwegian sculptor Bård Breivik. It is sculptured in solid grey and white granite in China, before being dismantled and shipped to Norway. The infinity pool is 16 meters long and heated for you to enjoy a dip with amazing views.
